New Research: 3 Critical Factors That Influence Longevity

Medical teams around the world recommend nutraceutical that are keys to  vitality.

After extensive groundbreaking research, scientists have astounded their peers by pinpointing three key factors that are instrumental in lengthening or shortening longevity. This discovery comes at a unique period in research because at the same time-scientists from institutions as diverse as the State University of New York and the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research have found a combination of specific nutraceutical that affect all three of these factors in a positive manner.

The goal of all of these researchers was to ensure that Americans live not only longer but also better. Doctors agree that quality of life is much more important than just adding on a few years. Now, with these three major threats identified, scientists are on their way to impacting longevity.

The Three Factors That Can Influence Longevity

  1. Maintaining a healthy immune (or defense) system
  2. Repairing damaged cells; and
  3. Protecting the body's blueprints, the innermost part of its cells. These tiny blueprints for each cell not only control our individual identities, but they also signal the various organs in the body such as the brain, the heart, and even the sexual organs how and when to work. Fortifying these three factors is vital; that's  what makes the discovery of certain key nutraceutical so important.

From the Mouths of Babes

The first of these natural substances is colostrum the pre-milk fluid  produced by female mammals just before they give birth. Colostrum has been shown in a host of recent studies to be rich in a number of co-factors needed for a strong defense system. It contains key compounds that can help blunt the impact of a wide range of bacteria, viruses, and harmful yeast’s (Brandtzaeg 1983).

Interestingly, colostrum remains in the intestinal tract after being consumed, as pointed out by researchers at the University of Goteborg in Sweden (Hanson 1988). Further research conducted at the State University of New York  demonstrates that some of the most powerful micro nutrients in the body’s defense system can be found in colostrum (Theodore 1982). Thus, colostrum can help your internal guardians work at full capacity.

Immune-Boosting Proteins

A second critical nutrient is lactoferrin a potent iron-binding protein and an internal defense system booster. In 1998, scientists at the Polish Academy of Sciences confirmed that lactoferrin has powerful effects on easing various swelling processes that occur in the body (Zimecki 1998). It works hand in hand with colostrum to support the body’s defense system.

An earlier study published in Immunology Today confirmed lactoferrins ability to specifically nourish the body’s defender cells that hunt down and destroy a wide range of harmful substances (Brock 1995).

Damage Control

Another new ally in countering the three main threats to your health is C-MED-100 a concentrated extract from the renowned cat's claw herb.  South Americans have used cat's claw for centuries to ward off a variety of  age-related problems. American scientists recently have been able to isolate and extract C-Med-100® from the plant's leaves.  Like colostrum and lactoferrin, C-Med-100® has been shown to boost the body's defense system. This was confirmed by a recent study conducted at the University of Lund in Sweden and published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology.  Moreover, this study found that C-Med-100® can promote the repair of damaged cells in the body (Sheng 2000).

Super Green Tea

In addition, one type of green tea (Camellia sinensis) offers novel  benefits, mainly because of its content of amazing nutrients called catechins. Within the last few years, scientists have been able to develop a new type of green tea called gabatein that possesses two key additional effects.

Just like most green tea, gabatein is a strong antioxidant, but it also works much like C-Med-100® (Allemain 1999). In fact, researchers at the Medical College of Ohio published in Nature, among science's most prestigious journals, a study that found that the constituents of gabatein could perform specific functions to help the body deal with damaged cells (Jankun 1997).

The most remarkable discovery may be gabatein's ability to support the health of our cells, more specifically, their blueprints. As mentioned earlier, those blueprints control many aspects of our health. Several studies show that gabatein can help fortify the instructions inside. Scientists at both the University of Nice in France and the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research have found this to be true (Allemain 1999; Naasani 1998).

These potent nutraceutical offer a simple way for you to foster a healthy and vibrant life as you grow older. A combination of these natural substances  has the potential to help your sunset become a sunrise to a new age of health.
